Plusoptix GmbH is a German company located in Nuernberg. Based on the research work at the university of ophthalmology in Tuebingen/Germany Plusoptix has acquired special expertise in R&D of binocular videoretinoscopy. As a result international patents were appointed and transferred into products. New products are autorefractometers to screen infants and pre-school aged children to detect amblyopia. Other devices are measuring binocular in real time accommodation and pupil dynamics in photopic, scotopic and mesopic conditions. Customers are ophthalmologists, optometrists, pediatricians, eye hospitals as well as scientists.
