Since 2001, the Plusoptix GmbH has been developing, manufacturing and distributing medical measuring devices.
While the first device models were based on a Windows XP operating system with a hard drive, we have been using our individually configured Linux operating system with SSD memory in all devices since 2009. This avoids uncontrolled system crashes, and the hardware is very long-lasting.
Reliable and accurate
In a measurement setup, moving parts are subject to mechanical wear, which is reflected in imprecise measurement results and can thus lead to an incorrect diagnosis by the attending physician. In contrast, the measurement setup of all Plusoptix measuring devices does not have any moving parts.
If an electronic component fails in the Plusoptix measuring devices, no measurement results can be determined. As soon as a measurement result is displayed, it is always reliable and accurate.
Low operating costs
As a result of the wear-free measuring assembly on all measuring devices from Plusoptix, they do not have to be maintained or calibrated. Additionally, Plusoptix provides all customers with free software updates as a download and no further operating costs are incurred for our measuring instruments.
In the USA and Europe, Plusoptix offers a hassle-free warranty beyond the scope of the statutory guarantee. During the warranty period, it also takes over the costs of repairing accidental damages, e.g. dropping the device.
The hassle-free warranty can be extended for a period of up to 10 years after delivery.
